St. Charles, IL - American Office Products Distributors, Inc. (AOPD) has just concluded a very successful Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Bonaventure in Weston, FL.  With record setting attendance, this year's theme "Foundation for Growth, AOPD 32 Years Strong," included several interactive panel discussions.  Panel topics such as "National Account Strategies in a Changing Market," "Finding and Developing New and Existing GSA Business" and "The Office Products Industry Today" were headed up by leading industry experts.  Other presentations highlighted the new resources and tools being offered to the AOPD members, such as a new bidding resource, sales data capturing software and new marketing tools.

Each year the Board's Executive Committee chooses one dealer member and business partner, who have been long time supporters of AOPD, to receive the President's Award.  Pat Crowley, from S&T Office Products received the dealer's award, while two business partner's, SP Richards and United Stationers were also honored with this award.

Also taking place at this meeting, the members appointed their new Board of Directors:

Jim Butterfield and Mark Leazer were both re-appointed to the Board, while Pat Crowley was appointed for the first time.  Each Director serves a three year term.
